This theme features aspects of research into outcomes in further education in physiotherapy in Europe.
The theme welcomes papers that explore Europe’s landscape of physiotherapy education research.
Papers may deal with a variety of questions such as:
- How has the 2003 Benchmark Statement been implemented?
- Programme design between market forces, regulation and mission statement.
- What quality assurance systems support Bachelor, Masters or a doctorate degrees in different countries?
- How are clinical reasoning and “technical” competencies assessed?
- What is needed to increase comparability between physiotherapy degrees in Europe?
- What experiences are there in comparative educational outcomes research?
- How can quality be measured?
Papers addressing such questions as a topic in its own right are most welcome.
